Chris Evert was born as Christine Marie Evert on 21st December 1954 in Florida, USA. Her parents are Chris and Jimmy Evert. Her father was a tennis coach, and he was the one who introduced Chris and his other four children to tennis.

Chris started playing tennis at a very early age. She went to the St. Thomas Aquinas High School from where she graduated in 1973.
