Her father moved the family to Nigeria when she was two months old. She lived there until she was four years old before returning to Israel.
Prior to her mandatory enlistment to the Israeli Defense Forces, she spent a Service Year volunteering in the paramilitary Nahal and did her military service in the Israeli Navy Band.
Barzilai performs at clubs and weddings around Tel Aviv.
